C.H. Robinson Worldwide v Northbridge Insurance (2015 ONSC 232) – C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. (“Robinson”) hired KLM Express Ltd. (“KLM”) to deliver food products. Under that contract, KLM was liable up to full value of the shipment. This was greater than its usual limit of liability, which was $4.41 per kilogram computed on the total weight of the shipment.
